Industrial Wheels
Industrial wheels are supplied without a complete castor bracket and must match the axle, hub space and operating duty of the equipment. Select by diameter, tread width, hub length, bore, bearing and catalogue load. Taishan also lists specialist rollers and drive wheels, which require application-specific dimensional and duty checks.

Match the axle and hub as carefully as the tread
A matching outside diameter does not make a replacement wheel compatible. Compare bore diameter, hub length, axle arrangement and clearance inside the fork. Then compare tread width and the actual bearing option. Some series use different hub dimensions for different bearings, so confirm a full table row rather than combining separate dimensions.
Compare the main options
| Option | Why compare it | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Plain bore | Compare the direct bore and axle interface | Confirm wear, lubrication and application duty |
| Roller bearing | Compare the listed bearing and axle arrangement | Check hub length and environmental limits |
| Single or two ball bearings | Compare the exact bearing version in the table | Verify bore, spacers and installation details |
A practical selection sequence
- Record the existing model code or measure diameter, tread width, bore and hub length.
- Choose a listed bearing option compatible with the axle assembly.
- State load, speed, floor, temperature and drive or guidance requirements.
- Send a drawing for drive wheels, rollers or a non-standard replacement.
Keep specialist functions in the specification
Guide rollers, pallet-truck rollers and drive wheels have different interfaces and duties from free-running trolley wheels. For conductive or antistatic products, specify the required electrical behaviour and assembled-system test conditions. Colour and a family label do not establish electrical suitability.
Practical checks
Pro tip: A replacement wheel can fit the axle yet foul the fork because its hub is too long. Check both dimensions.
Pro tip: Do not assume a passive wheel is suitable as a drive wheel. Drive torque and hub fixing need a separate review.
