Stainless Steel Is One Part of the Assembly
A stainless bracket can improve corrosion resistance, but the wheel, bearing, axle, fasteners, brake and lubricant also need to suit the environment. Ask for the complete material specification when corrosion or hygiene is critical.
Match the Wheel to the Floor and Cleaning Process
Elastic rubber can support quieter travel and floor protection. Polyurethane can offer wear and rolling benefits. Nylon can be suitable where low rolling resistance and cleanability matter. Chemicals, hot water, oils and floor condition can change material suitability.
Check Water Traps and Maintenance
Frequent washdown requires attention to drainage, crevices, bearing protection and relubrication. The cleaning method and frequency should be part of the RFQ.
Confirm Load and Mounting
Compare wheel diameter, plate or bolt-hole dimensions, overall height and rated load for each code. Send application, chemical exposure, temperature and quantity for a factory review.
