How to Choose Industrial Castors for Equipment

A practical selection process covering load, wheel material, diameter, floor, mounting, brake and operating environment.

Start With the Real Working Load

Calculate equipment weight plus carried load, then consider uneven floors, impact and the possibility that fewer castors temporarily carry the load.

Match the Wheel to the Floor

Rubber and TPR support quiet travel and floor protection. Polyurethane balances wear, load and rolling resistance. Polyamide offers low rolling resistance on suitable floors.

Confirm Mounting and Maneuvering

Check top plate or bolt-hole dimensions and decide how swivel, fixed and total brake castors should be combined.

Send Complete RFQ Data

Include application, load, wheel diameter, mounting, speed, environment and quantity so the supplier can compare suitable product groups.
